Yeah, it sounds like one drum was used for the beat. Throw in a snare and a tom or another kick or something, other than that, its good.
You have no idea how many layers of drums I have, everything was manually midi'd, it took quite a while.
Also this snippet for the demo is kinda a quite part I just thought of that so when you hear the finished thing you will have all the drums you could ever want.

lets see, the drums are perfect for the song, nice tempo,lead synths aren't too energetic(which is a good thing), and the quality is good.

Just the right kind of song
Now, I've never heard the original so I have no idea how this is different, probably the pounding bass and the kick-ass sense of joy you get when you listen to it.
The only problem i think this song has is its drums, which still suit the song by the way, they could have been more hardcore, thus leading to one kick-ass song, or a more kick-ass song, I should say.
Regardless it rocks, I'll dl it for my ipod, let me know when you make anything new.

yea, i was pretty happy with the way it came out. i could have improved it alot more however, but i wanted to get it done because i hadnt submitted for a while. do you know where i can get some hard, pounding drums? the fl ones kinda suck. im glad you liked it, i'll tell you when i get a new song out. thanks for the review / 10!
